Get people talking
Icebreakers help a group relax and get to know each other, whether it’s the first day of school, a new team at work or a workshop full of strangers. Spin the wheel to pick a random question, and the surprise makes it feel more like a game than a task.
Ways to run it
- Round the room: spin a question and everyone answers in turn.
- Hot seat: one person answers three spun questions in a row.
- Pairs: spin a question, then partners discuss it for two minutes before sharing.
- Virtual meetings: share your screen and spin at the start of a video call.
More icebreaker questions to add

Tips for facilitators
Start with light questions and let people pass if they want to. Turn on Remove winner automatically so you don’t repeat a question, and save your best question lists under My wheels for the next session.
