Pick a random country from anywhere in the world
This wheel includes 195 countries, every UN member state plus Palestine and Vatican City. Spin it and the chosen country appears in large text. It’s a fun way to explore the world, plan travel daydreams, or set up a geography challenge.
Ideas for a random country generator
- Geography quiz: spin, then name the capital, the continent or the flag colors.
- Cooking challenge: cook a traditional dish from the country you land on.
- Travel bucket list: spin for your next dream destination and research it.
- School projects: assign each student a random country to present.
- Football or sports drafts: spin for which national team you support this tournament.
- Language learning: learn how to say “hello” in the main language of each country.
Make continent wheels
The full world wheel has thin slices. For classroom use, it can help to make smaller wheels by continent: delete the countries you don’t need, then save a version for each region, such as Europe, Asia, Africa, the Americas and Oceania, under My wheels.
Run a world tour
Turn on Remove winner automatically and spin once a week. Each country is removed after it’s picked, so you’ll visit a new country every time, through food, films, music or facts, without repeats.
